Incidents and figures from his personal life have emerged in his paintings as well. He compares his painting activity to fencing using slashing strokes of the brush.
The vanishing quality of time is a recurrent subject in the artist's aesthetic universe. Stallone usually includes a generic clock or watch in his paintings, creating a special tension with the placement of their hands.
